  • 1 medium Onion, chopped
  • 2 medium Carrots, diced
  • 1 cup (150g) Peas (fresh or frozen)
  • 2 cups (500g) Mashed Potatoes
  • 1 cup (240ml) Beef or Vegetable Stock
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp Dried Thyme
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the chopped onions until translucent.
  3. Add ground meat to the skillet, breaking it up as it cooks until browned.
  4. Stir in the diced carrots and peas; cook for about 5 minutes until softened.
  5. Mix in stock, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper. Simmer briefly then remove from heat.
  6. Spread meat mixture in a baking dish and top with mashed potatoes. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
