- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 3 cups marinara sauce (preferably no added sugars)
- 15 oz ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions

- Cook the ziti in salted boiling water until al dente (8-10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef; drain excess fat. Stir in marinara sauce and Italian seasoning, simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta, half of the mozzarella, and half of the Parmesan until smooth.
- Layer half of the meat sauce in the baking dish, followed by half of the cooked ziti and dollops of cheese mixture. Repeat layers and finish with remaining meat sauce on top.
