  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream

  2. Form small meatballs (about 1 inch in diameter) and set aside.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs and brown on all sides (about 5-7 minutes). Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add sliced mushrooms and sauté until golden brown (about 4 minutes). Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Return meatballs to the skillet and simmer in the sauce for an additional 8-10 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Garnish with additional Parmesan cheese and fresh herbs before serving.
