  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 32 oz frozen tater tots
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked; drain excess fat.
  2. Sauté chopped onions in the same skillet until translucent; combine with browned beef, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Layer half of the beef mixture at the bottom of your crockpot. Spread half of the cream of mushroom soup over it.
  4. Evenly layer half of the tater tots on top followed by half of the shredded cheese.
  5. Repeat layering with the remaining beef mixture, soup, tater tots, and finish with a final layer of cheese.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours until heated through and cheese is bubbly.
