  • 1 medium head of green cabbage (about 23 lbs), chopped
  • 1 lb ground beef (or turkey/chicken)
  • 1 cup uncooked white rice
  • 28 oz can of tomato sauce
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup water or broth
  • Olive oil for sautéing

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté onion until translucent, then add minced garlic.
  2. Increase heat slightly and add ground meat. Cook until browned.
