- 2 tbsp unsalted butter (divided)
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms (cremini or shiitake)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp fresh rosemary (chopped)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in boiling salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water before draining.
- In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add sliced mushrooms, season with salt and pepper, and sauté until golden brown and crispy (about 5–7 minutes). Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, lower heat and add remaining butter, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, and honey. Stir gently for about 2 minutes until fragrant.
- Return cooked pasta to the skillet along with reserved pasta water as needed; toss until well coated in sauce.
