  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar for coating

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in the egg and red food coloring until combined.
  4. Whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet batter until just combined.
