  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey (cooked and seasoned)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños (fresh or pickled)
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/2 cup guacamole (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F.
  2. Spread the frozen tater tots evenly on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Bake the tater tots for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  4. While they bake, cook the ground beef or turkey in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Season with taco seasoning as desired.
  5. Once the tater tots are crispy, remove them from the oven and evenly layer the cooked meat and shredded cheese over them.
  6. Return to the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  7. Remove from the oven and top with sour cream, jalapeños, green onions, and guacamole if using. Serve immediately.
