  • 1.5 lbs ground beef (80/20)
  • 1/2 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 8 oz cremini mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and pepper in a bowl; shape into 1-inch meatballs.
  2. Brown meatballs in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned on all sides.
  3. Sauté mushrooms and onions in the same skillet until golden.
  4. Place meatballs and vegetables into the slow cooker.
  5. Whisk beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and cornstarch; pour over meatballs.
  6. Cook on Low for 6-8 hours or High for 3-4 hours.
  7. Stir in sour cream immediately before serving.
