  • 1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 12 oz penne or fettuccine pasta, cooked
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in a greased slow cooker.
  2. Mix melted butter, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning; pour over chicken.
  3. Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours until chicken is tender.
  4. Remove chicken to a plate and shred with two forks.
  5. Stir heavy cream and parmesan cheese into the slow cooker juices until smooth.
  6. Fold the shredded chicken and cooked pasta back into the sauce.
  7. Warm on the 'low' or 'warm' setting for 10-15 minutes before serving.
