  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Festive sprinkles or crushed nuts for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan. Prepare brownie mix according to the package instructions.
  2. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely.
  3. In a saucepan, combine heavy cream and chocolate chips over low heat; stir until melted and smooth. Let cool slightly.
  4. Crumble cooled brownies in a bowl, adding half the ganache to form a mixture you can roll into balls.
  5. Roll tablespoon-sized portions into balls and place on a lined baking sheet. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm up.
  6. Dip each truffle into remaining ganache, letting excess drip off, then sprinkle with toppings before placing them on a tray.
