  • 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, pumpkin pie spice, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat together pumpkin puree, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients.
  4. Pour half of the batter into the prepared dish. Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over it. Add dollops of remaining batter and swirl with a knife.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool slightly before slicing.
